Indiana will experience a total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Free Community Eclipse Viewing Party hosted by Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union, the Kokomo Jackrabbits, and Sun King Brewery from 2-4 p.m. Free event for everyone with free eclipse glasses while they last. IU Kokomo Observatory Open House 
April 8, 2024 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. 
IU Kokomo Observatory, 2660 S. Washington Street, Kokomo, IN 46902
Join us on April 8th to view the solar eclipse on the IU Kokomo campus. Free event from 1:30-4:30 p.m. We will live stream the eclipse from a telescope in the dome of the observatory. In addition, telescopes will be set up outside to safely view the progression of the eclipse. If weather conditions are not favorable in Kokomo, we will livestream the view from other locations in the observatory lecture hall.
