Big Shrimp performs live at The Coterie as part of the band’s Winter Tour 2026. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with the show beginning at 9:00 p.m. A $5 cover applies.
Big Shrimp is a young quartet from Bridgeport, Connecticut, formed in 2024 and already gaining attention in the modern funk and indie rock scene for explosive musicianship and genre-blending, hook-driven songwriting. The band launched its journey by hosting a two-night festival in Upstate New York, followed by a hometown residency titled The Black Rock Special, a six-show, donation-based series themed around music and culinary shrimp specials, with proceeds benefiting Connecticut charities.
The band’s growing catalog reflects contributions from all four members and has earned praise for accessibility and stylistic range. Big Shrimp’s music has been featured on Spotify’s Modern Jam Band editorial playlist.
Pre-show tickets and table reservations are available at https://www.kokomocoterie.com/events.
