Kokomo comes alive with a vibrant lineup of annual festivals and fairs, filled with live music, family-friendly activities, and plenty of delicious food to enjoy.

In Kokomo, summer starts with strawberry shortcake! The Kokomo Strawberry Festival is our official kick-off to summer and one of the community’s favorite traditions. Thousands head to downtown Kokomo on the first Friday of June for for a full day of strawberry shortcake, live music, delicious food, handmade art, and family fun.

Indulge in irresistible and decadent sweet treats at this event celebrating all things chocolate! Arrive early for best selection. Held annually the first Friday in May.

Celebrate Kokomo’s automotive heritage with car shows, parade, rides, food, live entertainment, sports festival and concerts. This year will mark the 50th anniversary of the festival.

Enjoy local and national bluegrass bands and musicians, workshops, arts & crafts vendors, food and drink. Held in mid-August in western Howard County.

Explore 4-H exhibits, demonstrations, food vendors, carnival rides, live entertainment, music, queen pageant and much more. Held mid-July at the Howard County Fairgrounds in Greentown.

Experience live music, local art, and craft beer. All concerts are held at the outdoor Riverwalk stage (located behind The Foxes Trail restaurant) on South Main Street summer through early fall.

The Kokomo Summer Concert Series brings together top-tier national and regional acts alongside food vendors and community activities, creating great evenings of live music all summer long.

Indiana craft beer and spirits festival with a variety of breweries, distilleries and food trucks along with live music. Held in late July on Buckeye Street in downtown Kokomo.

Free arts-based open house in downtown Kokomo held on the First Friday of select months of the year with fun themes, art, music, and family activities.

Experience Kokomo’s Seiberling Mansion, adorned with elaborate holiday decorations and thousands of holiday lights. Held the Saturday after Thanksgiving through the end of the year.
