Kokomo Symphony Celebrates 50th Season

50 and still fantastic! The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 50th season with four great concerts you won’t want to miss.

Be swept away to the streets of Paris with Gershwin’s beloved “American in Paris,” and experience the majestic beauty of Rome through Respighi’s “Pines of Rome.” The concert will feature the incredible talents of internationally renowned opera star Alicia Berneche who began her career within the Kokomo Symphony Youth Orchestra in the mid 70’s and local flutist Trudy Whitford who has performed in the orchestra for 30 years. KSO wraps up their 50th season with an unforgettable concert finale. In collaboration with Kokomo Civic Theatre, “Sondheim on Sondheim” is a multi-media performance featuring the timeless music of legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
