Enjoy outdoor winter fun in Kokomo

Family Fun, Recreation

Looking for some fun this winter while there’s snow on the ground? Make sure to visit Kokomo’s Parks for some frosty fun!

Bundle up, grab a sled and head to Jackson Morrow Park for some thrilling sledding down the park’s massive hill! When you need to take a break and warm up, be sure to stop into the Kirkendall Nature Center to experience a little of the Great Outdoors…indoors!

For a more picturesque winter outing, check out beauty of Highland Park covered in snow and the creek glistening with ice. As you go sledding or play in the snow, don’t forget to say hello to Old Ben and the Sycamore Stump! You can also enjoy the winter beauty of Foster Park while seeing beautiful downtown Kokomo. Foster Park is also a short driving distance away from downtown’s coffee shops and restaurants for when you need a toasty pick-me-up after a day of snowy fun.
