The Kokomo Howard County Public Library is known for hosting family-friendly, educational, creative, and fun events throughout the year. This November, there are dozens of activities for children, teens, and adults to do that allow them to have fun while also learn something new. All their events are held at the different library branches and are free, which is the best part!
The Main Branch invites you to find the perfect holiday gifts for book and movie lovers with it’s Friends of the Library Book sale on Nov. 1 and 2. Explore their diverse assortment of used books, DVDs, CDs and more that are for sale at affordable prices!
With fall still being in the air and winter not too far behind, it’s time to either move your spring and summer plants indoors and possibly attempt to keep them growing all winter long. The Russiaville Branch is partnering with Purdue Extension on Nov. 12 to demonstrate how to maintain your plants’ health and beauty indoors. This class is beneficial for houseplant owners as well!
Finally, share your creativity with someone you love as you make a greeting card! The South Branch will be offering a Card Creators class on Nov. 19 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 5:30- 7:30 p.m., where you can make cards for all occasions! All supplies for this event are provided at no cost to you!
