The Kokomo Howard County Public Library is known for hosting family-friendly, educational, creative, and fun events throughout the year. This April, there are dozens of activities for children, teens, and adults to do that allow them to have fun while also learn something new. All their events are held at the different library branches and are free, which is the best part!
Springtime is officially here, and the South Branch is hosting two flowery craft sessions to celebrate! Create an adorable reversable spring sign on Apr. 12 or eclectic bookmarks with dried flowers and recycled book pages on Apr. 13.
April is National Poetry Month, and the Main Branch is hosting Indiana Poet Laureate Curtis Crisler for a special workshop on Apr. 19. Learn all about epistolary poetry and how it can help share your voice.
Finally, the Russiaville Branch is getting into the Arbor Day spirit by hosting celebratory giveaways! Pick up a free tree on Apr. 25 or partake in a seed and plant swap on Apr. 26 to keep the community vibrant!
