Fired Arts is a create-your-own ceramics studio located in downtown Kokomo. This business featured a diverse selection of blank ceramic sculptures including flower vases, plates, lamps, and figurines of animals, princesses, fairies, gnomes, and superheroes.
This creative haven that specialized in helping locals channel their artistic side originally resided in the back portion of MO Joe Coffee, but it needed to expand its business to welcome in more artists. On Aug. 2, 2024, Fired Arts opened its new location to the public as its own entity with more room to create, as well as more shelf space to hold blank sculptures waiting to be filled with color.
The new and larger location allows Fired Arts to continue its ceramic-painting tradition while also offering canvas painting to its lineup. They even have shelves for artists to display their work in the shop if they don’t want to take it home!
