The Kirkendall Nature Center is nestled in Kokomo's Jackson Morrow Park.  Learn about the native Indiana wildlife and see a large diorama of preserved animals including a beaver, groundhog, albino muskrat, red-tailed hawk, fox squirrels, red and grey fox, barn owl, bobcats, deer, raccoon, great blue heron, among others.  Several display cases hold fish mounts, butterflies, insects, fossils and educational displays.

Open seasonally May 1 – August 31, Tuesday-Friday 1-5pm, Saturday 11am-4pm and Sunday 1-4pm.  Open September 1 – April 30 on Tuesday & Thursday 2-5pm, Saturday 11am-4pm and Sunday 1-4pm.  Admission is free.
