Event Details

Wildcat Creek and River activist Garry Hill will be making a presentation Wednesday, October 9th at Greentown Historical Society, 103 E. Main Street, Greentown, Indiana at 6:00 p.m. Garry will be talking about the History of the 82-miles of the Wildcat Creek, and associated Canoe and Kayak travels, as well as Fishing activities. Garry has been sharing the knowledge of his beloved Creek almost since he started Canoeing it 52 years ago. He’s started multiple clubs to Paddle and Protect the waterway including the Wildcat Canoe Club in 1975 and the Wildcat Guardians in 1990. Shortly after forming the Wildcat Canoe Club, he discovered the Hoosier Canoe Club, and he is now a Life Member.
