Do you need a break from social media, YouTube, texts, and email? Go Screenless! The IU Kokomo Kelley House will be a phone-free zone from 3 to 5 p.m. Come here to read books, sketch, journal, and talk to real people, Between 3 and 4 p.m., books from the chancellor’s extensive library, along with pencils and sketch books, will be available. (Of course, you can bring your own, too.) From 4 to 5 p.m., enjoy a program led by an artist, musician, scholar, craftsperson, or local leader.

The October edition of Screenless, set for Thursday, October 24, will feature Chancellor Mark Canada, discussing the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
