Community Howard is pleased to present a safe way to dispose of expired or unwanted medications; Drop off medications outside the main entrance of the Community Surgery Center, east side of Community Howard Regional Health; Security will be present to take back the medications; We will accept prescriptions, over-the-counter pills, liquid medications, vitamins, or pet medicines; We cannot accept mercury (thermometers), chemotherapy-/radioactive substances, oxygen containers, pressurized containers/inhalers, needles/sharps, or illicit drugs; For more information, call 765-776-8593.
