Kendall Family Farm Adventures

Sept. 21 through October 28
Enjoy a fun-filled day down on the farm with a 5-acre adventure corn maze, you-pick pumpkin patch, hayrides and more at the farm located in eastern Howard County. Read more.

Monster Mash-First Friday

Oct. 5
The ghouls and the goblins come out early every year for First Friday’s Monster Mash. There will be costumes, live performances and early trick-or-treating! Read more.


Oct. 6
Take your dog for a nice fall walk and help the Kokomo Humane Society in the process! It will be a fun day with contests and vendors.  Come with or without a dog, rain or shine. Read more.

Pumpkin painting

Oct. 20
A family favorite, the Kirkendall Nature Center in Jackson Morrow Park offers a fun afternoon of painting pumpkins. They’ll provide pumpkins or you can bring your own. Read more.

Haunted Trail Walk

Oct. 27
Take a spooky walk on the trails of Jackson Morrow Park! This free event is for all ages, but 12 and younger must be with an adult. Read more.

Edge of Insanity Haunted Attraction

Saturday & Sundays, Sept. 29 – Nov. 3
In the quiet farm country on the outskirts of town, not everything is what it seems. There, you’ll need to brace yourself for what you’ll find at an abandoned asylum. Read more

From the Dark Pages Murder Mystery Tour

Oct. 19-20
Visit the Seiberling Mansion and take a trip back in time. Guests will track Jack the Ripper while meeting the authors of the creatures that have haunted us through books, plays and movies for at least 200 years. Read more.

Annual Kids Community Halloween Party

Oct. 27
This free event has games and prizes for all kids! There are costume contests in five age groups and entertainment by Dance Elite. Read more.


Oct. 13
At Kokomo-Con, it’s all about “geeky comradery.” Many come in cosplay and there’s a much-anticipated costume contest in addition to comics, toys, games, anime, steampunk, & LEGO!  Read more.

Halloween at the Library

Throughout October
Visit the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library on select dates in October for free pumpkin painting, spooky story times, trunk or treat, and even a zombie prom! Read more.

IUK Halloween Open House

Oct. 26
Student groups will gather in Alumni Hall to pass out candy to Kokomo area trick-or-treaters ages 10 and younger. There will also be a magician at the event. Read more.

Autumn Festival-A Handcrafted Art Market

Nov. 3
Shop at 80+ vendor booths and find treasures from handmade to refurbished items at Indiana University Kokomo Alumni Hall.   Read more.
