Halloween at the Library

The Downtown Branch of the Kokomo Howard County Public Library will have crafts, games and more. Read more.

Annual Kids Community Halloween Party

Oct. 28
This free event has games and prizes for all kids! There are costume contests in five age groups and entertainment by Dance Elite. Read more.

IUK Halloween Open House

Oct. 27
Student groups will gather in Alumni Hall to pass out candy to Kokomo area trick-or-treaters ages 10 and younger. There will also be a magician at the event. Read more.

Twisted Darkness Haunted Attractions

Last weekend of September and throughout the month of October
Filled with horrors untold, this ever-evolving haunted attraction is not for the faint of heart. But there is a toned-down version for the little ones. Read more.

Haunted Trail Walk

Oct. 28
Take a spooky walk on the trails of Jackson Morrow Park! This free event is for all ages, but 12 and young must be with an adult. Read more.

Edge of Insanity Haunted Attraction

Last weekend of September and throughout October
In the quiet farm country on the outskirts of town, not everything is what it seems. There, you’ll need to brace yourself for what you’ll find at an abandoned asylum. Read more

From vintage to classic to seriously old school, you’ll love all the wheels on the block at the Hoosier Classic Car Auction. Read more.

Pumpkin painting

Oct. 21
A family favorite, the Kirkendall Nature Center in Jackson Morrow Park offers a fun afternoon of painting pumpkins. They’ll provide pumpkins or you can bring your own. Read more.

Murder Mystery Theatre

Oct. 20
Part of the library’s Howard County Reads program, partake in an evening of mystery set in a 1950s diner based on the book “Grandma Gatewood’s Walk.” Read more.

Kendall Family Farm Adventures

Sept. 22-Through October
Enjoy a fun-filled day down on the farm with an adventure corn maze, you-pick pumpkin patch, hayrides and more at the farm located in eastern Howard County. Read more.

Zombie Dash

Oktoberfest Volkswagen Cruise-In

Sept. 23
Not only are there oodles of Volkswagens to ogle, there’s also a swap meet, car shows and a killer concert — ZOSO, The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience . Read more.

Koh-Koh-Mah Living History Encampment

Sept. 16-17
More than 1,000 re-enactors bring the 1700s to life in the finest native village east of the Mississippi. Read more.

From the Dark Pages, Masquerade Ball & Murder Mystery Tour
