Carnival rides, adorable animals, live music, and much more are in store for you at the Howard County Fair in Greentown, one of the largest county fairs in Indiana! The 2025 fair is slated for July 7-12, and it has a little something for everyone to enjoy.
The Midway is the most popular of the fair’s attractions and is home to exciting rides and carnival games. Be sure to take a relaxing ride on the Ferris Wheel to catch a fantastic view of the fair!
Of course, the fair is more than just rides! Check out the livestock barn to meet 4-H farm animals and experience livestock shows. Want something action-packed? Head to the Northwest Grandstands for tractor-pulls, demolition derby, and more.
Another popular tradition is the pioneer village. Listen to live music and discover treasures. While you’re in the village, don’t forget to pay the quirky Grandpa Cratchet a visit during his puppet show.
Finally, no trip to the fair would be complete without food! Savor classic fair food such as corn dogs, ice cream, funnel cakes, and cotton candy, or go wild and sample exotic fare such as fried alligator.
