Summer in Kokomo is full of opportunities to get outside, enjoy our beautiful parks and, better yet, enjoy some great music. This summer, head out to Foster Park for our Summer Concert Series, featuring big-name bands right here in Kokomo. The best part is that each concert is free and open to the public!
Weberfest, June 6
Organized by TA Weber of Weber Speakers, this event kicks off the Kokomo Summer Concert Series in early June.
Carver Center Summer Celebration – June 13
The Carver Center Summer Celebration is a fun-filled day of food, beer, wine and music to benefit the Carver Community Center.
HOGfest – June 27
This festival pairs the love of all things Harley Davidson with great music in the park.
Haynes Apperson Festival – July 2-4
One of Kokomo’s largest events of the year, the Haynes Apperson Festival celebrates Kokomo’s automotive history, featuring a parade, carnival rides and, of course, great bands.
Rhumfest – July 25
Rhumfest is an annual opportunity for students form the Rhum Academy in Kokomo to show off their skills, whether as part of a band or a solo artist.
Kokomo Symphony – August 22
Join the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra as they pair with a big name in the music industry for a unique entertainment experience to the park.
Oktoberfest – September 19
Finish off the summer with the final show in the Kokomo Summer Concert Series during Kokomo’s annual Oktoberfest.
Bands will be announced mid-March, so be sure to check back here to see who is scheduled to perform throughout the summer.
About the Venue
The Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion, located downtown in Foster Park, provides quality, free entertainment for our community and Central Indiana. The pavilion is home to the Kokomo Summer Concert Series and other events throughout the year, and it is conveniently located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops in downtown Kokomo.
Visitors to the pavilion are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
Foster Park is located at 721 W. Superior St.
