The Eastern Woodland Carvers Club is offering free beginner wood carving classes starting on May 3.  Classes are being held for 8 weeks from 6-8 PM on Tuesdays.  The EWCC Clubhouse is located at 101 Jefferson Street in Converse, Indiana.  Students will learn techniques from expert carvers and all tools and supplies are provided at no cost.  All skill levels are welcome although those under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
