Downtown Kokomo is home to many different locations that showcases art to the community. One of these is Artist Alley, a vibrant outdoor art gallery that always stays open.
Since 2014, Artist Alley has brought regional creativity to the alley between the Howard County Administration Building and the Kokomo Art Association’s Artworks Gallery. In this year’s exhibit, you can find bold paintings, mixed media creations, a stone sculpture of an owl, and even an artistic portrait of Kokomo’s own Seiberling Mansion! The 12th annual showcase will be available through August 2026.
Artist Alley isn’t the only alleyway adorned with art! You can find celebrity portrait murals in Geek Alley (located next to Kokomo Toys and Collectibles), metal designs and flowers in Garden Alley (located on Main St. on the east side of the Courthouse Square), and artwork created by The Bohemian Tattoo Club & Art Gallery artists in Back Alley (coming in October 2025).
